Editor’s Choice: Mastering the In-Between Season

Editor’s Choice: Mastering the In-Between Season

By Joda Amankrah

We’ve hit the big leagues, ladies (and gentlewomen)!

HALLOWEEN! BONFIRE NIGHT! CHRISTMASSSS!

The transitional season is here: sometimes warm enough to skip the jumper, sometimes chilly enough to need one, and sometimes so cold that a jacket must be summoned.

So, get yourself ready for a list…

Dolce Vita Caely Ballet Flats Dk Brown Suede

$140 /£103

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Now, this is an American brand, but if you’re willing to pay those hefty shipping fees, then by all means, be my guest.

Suede can be a little tricky during the autumn and winter months (hence the 3/5), but honestly? I think these would look incredible paired with some good jeans and a big, cosy jacket.

Denimist Teri Wide Leg Carpenter Pant

£365

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

After a long look through my wardrobe, I’ve realised there are a lot of stripes in there. I thought about taking a break from them, but honestly? I decided against it: everyone needs a good stripe moment!

These jeans are definitely on the wish list. They look like the perfect level of baggy, and if you’re really up for breaking the bank (more than you already have), then the matching jacket is an absolute must.

H&M Cotton double/king duvet cover set

£39.99

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I’m slightly obsessed with the colour red, so these sheets (combined with my stripe obsession) feel absolutely perfect.

They give off a Tekla vibe, just without the eye-watering price tag.

Free People We The Free Cute In This Cardi

£158

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Mary McCarthy has been rocking this cardigan for a while now and, well… I can’t run half (or even a quarter) as far or as fast as she can, but I can at least try to get my hands on the cardigan!

It looks incredibly comfortable and versatile; easy to dress up or down. The only reason it’s not getting full marks is because it sort of looks like a towel… but in a good way.

Fiore The Gold Canvas

£158

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Babsii was lucky enough to be contacted by Fiore a few months ago, and I managed to get my hands on one of their bracelets along with the Stellar charms… and honestly, I think one of their pieces deserves a spot on every wish list!

As a certified lazy girl who never takes her jewellery off before showering, I can vouch for this bracelet, I’ve worn it every single day and have never had a single issue with tarnishing or rusting.

Flabelus Frida Shoes

£71 (currently on sale)

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Tell me these shoes aren’t the actual colour of autumn?

These Flabelus flats have been calling my name for a while, and I will be getting my hands on them soon. Even if this colour-way isn’t your favourite, Flabelus has so many options, it’s actually a little dangerous!

Glossier Puffy Beauty Bag

£55(limited edition)

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I already own far too many bags, but if I could add another one to the collection, it would definitely be this one!

I love the puffy design, it just feels so right for autumn and winter. I only wish it came in more colours… but oh well!

Rixo Denver Jacket

£365

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Well, a few items on this list have really put the “wish” in wish list, and this jacket is one of them. I simply have to have it!

The gold detailing is stunning, and I’m obsessed with the collar and the subtle puff of the sleeves. Would it be ridiculous of me to check Vinted? Maybe even try to haggle it down to £50?

Sézane Thais Jacket

£185

Wishlist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

As I previously said, I have a serious obsession with red! The cut of this jacket looks like it is the absolute comfiest thing ever and I adore both the cuffs and the pockets. I also think the buttons are the perfect addition, big and red.

It is positively festive.
