With summer being well and truly behind us, frilly camis and Rara skirts are firmly out, matching hat and scarf sets and funky jumpers are back in. The winter blues have hit me hard but I believe there is no better way to get out of that slump than a bit of retail therapy and the planning of fun winter outfits!

I have therefore comprised the ULTIMATE guide to exciting up-and-coming clothing brands that I am loving, and new Autumn/Winter collections that are going straight into my basket. If Peachy Den, Minka Dink and Damson Madder are your vibe then you will LOVE these small businesses. Whether you want to expand your winter wardrobe, are looking for Christmas wishlist inspo or just want to treat yourself, this list has you covered.

SUSMIE'S COLLECTION

Susmie’s Collection is a Barcelona based brand renowned for the dreamiest colourful scarves. While they do offer international shipping, they are also hosting a London pop up at the end of the week where you can shop scarves, stripy trousers, chunky gold jewellery and lots more. And yes, whilst Barcelona has a very different climate to the UK, that hasn’t stopped them from releasing the cutest hat and scarf sets. I’m manifesting they have the Kansas set in stock at the pop-up this weekend!

  billies

Billies have just dropped their first collection of women’s workwear ,inspired by the 90s office aesthetic, their clothes are perfect if you want to channel your inner Rachel Green this winter. The concept behind the brand came out of a frustration towards ugly and unflattering corporate womenswear, as their website questions, “Why did we have to compromise fashion for professionalism?” This led to the birth of Billies and whether you are a corporate girly or just love 90s fashion they have some really fun pieces to jazz up your wardrobe.

BAGS BY MONTY

Onto accessories, Bags By Monty are my go-to choice to add some colour to these dreary winter months. These bags are handmade from recycled Nylon and come in so many fun different colours and sizes. Whether you are looking for a small bag to hold all the essentials or a weekend travel bag, Monty has all basis covered and, makes for the perfect pop of colour for your outfit.

I’m a firm believer that a funky belt is a great way to level up an outfit and Eliza Beatrice London offer a collection of made to measure buffalo leather belts, that come in lots of gorgeous colours and prints. Their next drop is on the 1st of November and their belts make for the perfect addition to your Christmas wishlist.

FROM FERN

As a massive quilted jacket enthusiast, I have been a From Fern fan for a while now. Their quilted jackets and waistcoats come in so many beautiful prints, from florals to gingham, so you can keep warm but still look super cool this autumn/winter. They also have a Kings Road pop up until the 27th October so head down to shop their collection of stunning matching set, unisex striped trousers, and of course quilted jackets.

SAMARA LOU WILLIS

Back to bags, and Samara Lou Willis is a Brixton based designer who uses deadstock fabrics to create stunning shoulder and cross-body bags. With an emphasis on ethical production practice, Willis’ designs include frilly hems, gingham prints and big bows. And if that wasn’t enough, they are also reversible, so you can girl maths a 2 for 1 deal. My personal favourite is the big bow bag in plaid and khaki!

ESORA LONDON

Esora London is an East London based slow fashion brand that makes knitwear and graphic tees while upholding their commitment to sustainability. The founder, Rose Wright is a Central Saint Martins graduate whose experience in knitwear has inspired the clothes she produces today. Her Florence knit top is the perfect elevated basic to level up your wardrobe.

CASPAR THE LABEL

And I’ll end this list with on my personal favourites Caspar the Label. If you are on the hunt for your next going out top, Caspar the Label have some really fun pieces, with The Garden Wall Tank being one of their best sellers. Their designs are unique and individual yet still very wearable so perfect if you want to add some statement pieces to your wardrobe.
